This stupid lawsuit has to rank right up there with the woman who sued McDonald’s for the coffee being too hot.
“I argued that the product was not able to be installed and used, and that I had exhausted all the remedies Adobe’s technical support offered trying to get it to be usable,” Jake replied.
Thinking like a lawyer, she maintained that the software license was null and void.
“Since I was never able to read it or agree to its terms,” she explained, “it was not displayed on the exterior of the box, and I was never able to view the license screen because the installer failed to work.”
First off was there any mention as to what state here PC was in prior to the install attempt? I tend to believe, from dealing with such fools, that her PC was likely in a very horrid state and pretty much on life support.
If such stupid lawsuits as this have any merit then pretty much every single vendor for every single piece of software would be tied up in court till the end of time.
I am chalking this one up to a P.E.B.K.A.C error!
